The story so far...

Since 2007, the Real Life Digital team has been fortunate to serve and collaborate with a diverse set of clients. We've always strived to connect people with technology to reach high levels of success.

For us, success is about always doing the right thing: putting our clients in the driver's seat. Technology should enable your business to go further, not hold you back.

We believe that by putting people first, asking difficult questions and understanding our clients aspirations, success is all but inenvitable.

This 'Real Life' approach has been at the core of everything we do and will continue to be so. It's surprising that some clients tell us that this is still unusual in the industry. This tells us that our approach is the right one and continues to be the most important thing we do.

Why change?

As you would expect, throughout our 13 year history, we've already changed, multiple times! Small changes over a decade amount to something more significant when put together.

More specifically, we've always aimed to be flexible so we can meet the expectations of the most demanding clients and challenging projects. This process of adaptation is healthy in business and allows us to stay relevant in a rapidly evolving world. Each passing year, both technology itself and the business landscape pivot and adapt at an ever quicker pace.

As we enter the new decade, we're excited and ready for the next ten years, whatever it may bring. We expect to continue improving on quality, speed and value for our clients.

At the end of 2019, we asked ourselves and our clients some deep questions. What are we doing well? What can improve? What challenges do we expect people and technology will face in the coming years?

We identified that the Real Life Digital brand had a hidden ceiling in its potential, so we asked: "What would it mean if we had an opportunity to start with a blank slate while building on past successes?"

We wanted to better describe why someone might choose us as their trusted partner. To do this, we wanted to let our clients do the talking, so will be presenting more first hand case studies and testimonials in the near future on this new Pivale website.

In business, it's important to walk the path that you advocate to others. We help our clients Pivot and Scale, and now it's our turn. So here we are, making a pretty significant pivot with this rebrand. We will continue to invest in our team and hire the best people to allow us to be at the top of our game and give our clients the very best service.

What's in a name?

In a nutshell, we help people who have a need to Pivot and Scale. Detailed explorations on these topics will follow in future articles. Be sure to subscribe to our mailing list so you get them hot-off-the-press.

Pivale is a tidy portmanteau (contraction) of Pivot, Scale, Value and Prevail!

Furthermore, we have named our key service areas to better explain how we solve problems, and show how our clients have enjoyed working within different scenarios. These services are:

For new clients, we hope these service areas provide greater clarity around problems they may be facing and potential respective solutions.

For existing clients, you're already receiving one of these services, except it now has a name! If we're lucky enough to already have you as a client, see if you can guess which one!

To be clear, these service areas do not alter how we see our clients. We do not want to put anyone into boxes, but rather, we now have a better way of explaining the value propositions of each solution and service area.

What's changing?

On 28th May 2020, Real Life Digital Ltd changed its legal company name to Pivale Ltd.

Our team members' email addresses will be changing to first.last@pivale.co, where 'first' and 'last' are our first and last names respectively. We will continue to receive emails via our old reallifedigital.com addresses for a period of time.

Our new website URL is pivale.co. If you use our old website address, you will automatically be redirected.

Our headquarters has undergone a refit to match the new Pivale brand. We'll share some photos soon, so be sure to subscribe to our mailing list!

What's not changing?

Right now, for existing clients - nothing is changing! Our emphasis on quality, support and trustworthy consultancy will remain the same or continue to improve.

Our company number remains the same, as does our VAT registration number allowing for a simple transition for any existing contracts we have in place with our suppliers, clients and partners.

There is no change in the company's directorship, ownership or day-to-day way of working.

We continue to operate from the fantastic BASE Bordon Innovation Centre.

What else?

We've codified our values - the compass that drives our client relationships and hiring processes. These are shown at the bottom of this article.

We'd love to stay in touch. If you'd like to be kept in the loop, please subscribe for occasional email updates.

Thank you

I appreciate you taking the time to read about these exciting developments. We welcome your feedback, positive and negative, so we can continue to Pivot and Scale with you! Let us know what you think and if you have any questions.
