BASE Bordon: a new space to create and innovate
22 Nov 2017
Did you know?
Pivale used to be known as Real Life Digital, and before that Real Life Design. This article contains references to Real Life Digital or Real Life Design which are names we traded as before becoming Pivale . You can read more about our rebrand here.
More than just a place to work
After celebrating 10 years of business, adapting to change has been part of our DNA. 10 years is a long time in our field.
Technological innovation comes in bursts. There is always something new to learn and we cannot be experts in everything.
Now we're part of a wider business community we feel that we're well placed to offer new partnerships and explore new ways we can bring value to our clients.
Suffice it to say that 2018 is an exciting year for us at Real Life Digital.
Forward-thinking organisations need better access to more specialised expertise from a range of legal, scientific and operational disciplines.”
About BASE Bordon Innovation Centre
We were the first company to move into the new BASE Bordon Innovation Centre.
The centre is set in a large Victorian building refurbished to the high standards needed for 21st-century business- a fibre connection, collaborative spaces and an open plan business lounge. We were impressed on our initial visit. Not only the building and its facilities but with the emphasis on collaboration between the technology businesses that are starting to come through the doors.
We've never been better placed to make the most of the years ahead. Being part of a network of other Innovation Centres across the UK, managed by Oxford Innovation, we have access to a broader set of skills and strengthens the support we can give our clients.

Opportunities for collaboration, skills sharing and innovation
Successful businesses set their sights firmly on the future and act on plans they make today for later return. Knowing what's important in the digital space can be a daunting task. Our mission is to continue cutting through the noise, spin and hyperbole to spot the real opportunities that make a difference to our clients.
In 2017, we saw many new paradigms emerge which create new and exciting opportunities for our clients. Technology now reflects and manipulates the deepest of human instincts which presents new challenges for privacy, programmed morality and machine learning.
We look forward to learning and working with experts in these new fields so we can continue to create innovative products for our clients.
Here, in our new home, we continue that journey.
