# ANS Global case study: Plant once, grow everywhere

ANS Global's case studies link to locations, applications, products and technical articles. Its new Drupal site lets editors publish a case study once and see it on the pages it relates to.

The problem: Case studies linked to locations, products and articles, and editors had to add pages daily without a developer. The solution: A Drupal site that feeds each tagged case study to its related pages, plus a map of over 800 green roof merchants. The outcome: Staff publish once and the site shows it in the right places, with less admin for each post.

## The challenge: Content with many connections.

ANS Global wanted a site that matched their new brand and hid the complex links between their content. Its editors also needed to add pages daily without calling a developer.

ANS Global is a full-service living wall and green roof company. Its case studies link to locations, applications, environments, technical articles and products, and each country it works in has a member of staff as the main contact.

The brief set four goals: a clean design in line with a recent rebrand, easier navigation, related content on technical pages and a faster site. ANS Global's SEO agency also needed more control over the SEO of each page.

The new site replaced four older websites. More than 400 case studies moved across by hand in content sprints, because the old sites had no structure an automated migration could use.

## What we built: A Drupal site built on tagged content.

### Connected case studies

Editors tag each case study by location, application and product, and the site feeds it to the matching pages.

### Pages built by editors

ANS Global's editors build new pages with Drupal Paragraphs, using Mark Chambers' designs, without help from Pivale.

### Similar case studies

On each case study, a matching algorithm compares its attributes with others and lists the closest matches.

### Geocoded maps

The site turns addresses into map points with the Google Maps API, so visitors can find a local green roof merchant from over 800.
